This is a map of 2013 - present deer hunt kills within the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) North Central Region (Region 2). The data was compiled from CDFW Automated Licensing Data System (ALDS) tables. Text descriptions from hunters were approximated and placed with geographic coordinates.
<purpose>The 2013 - present Region 2 Spotkill map was created to visually represent the density of Deer kills from hunting for the years 2013 - present, with emphasis on the past five years. This is useful for planning purposes for sport hunters and potentially for deer population studies.</purpose>
