The features in this shapefile represent final critical habitat units for the Yosemite toad. These polygon features were created with an inital focus on survey location data for Yosemite toad buffered by the 1.25 Kilometer dispersal disatance. Habitat suitability for the Yosemite toad was based on MaxEnt model probability of occurence (Derived by Christina Liang), vegetation layer CalVeg depicting vegetaion communites, and the USDA Forest Service, Region 5, Sierra Nevada meadow data. Additonal reference data layers included California watershed boundaries, (Watershed Boundary Dataset (WBD)), and NGS topographic data, The final critical habitat units were digitized at a scale of 1:24,000 or greater, using a UTM Zone 11, NAD 83 Coordinate System.
