Data was compiled to provide a singular resource of the extent of the 19 CVPIA wetland habitat areas where refuge water supplies can be used.
<purpose>This maps the extent of the 19 Central Valley Project Improvement Act (CVPIA) wildlife habitat areas as defined by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation’s conveyance contracts with the Department of Fish and Wildlife, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and Grassland Resource Conservation District. Habitat acres for the Refuge Water Supply Program are counted using these boundaries which may differ from their respective property boundaries.</purpose>

<eaover>There are five attribute fields that linked to tables housed in the personal geodatabase through a series of domains. They are linked by the numerical attribute fields which serve as the primary key for the respective tables. The fields and the counterpart tables are as follows:

OWNERCODE linked to CA_Owners table
ABBRVCODE linked to Owner_Abbrv table
MNGRCODE linked to CA_Mngrs table
MAINCODE linked to Maingroup table
