    <descript>
The Water Quality, Supply, and Infrastructure Improvement Act of 2014 (Proposition 1) provides funding to implement the three broad objectives of the California Water Action Plan: more reliable water supplies; the restoration of important species and habitat; and a more resilient, sustainably managed water resources system (water supply, water quality, flood protection, and environment). The California Drought, Water, Parks, Climate, Coastal Protection, And Outdoor Access For All Act Of 2018 (Proposition 68) provides funding for CDFW grants for projects that: 1) improve a community's ability to adapt to the unavoidable impacts of climate change; 2) improve and protect coastal and rural economies, agricultural viability, wildlife corridors, or habitat; and/or 3) develop future recreational opportunities, or enhance drought tolerance, landscape resilience, and water retention. This data set contains points provided by the grantee representing the approximate location of the projects approved by the California Department of Wildlife's Watershed Restoration Grants Branch for funding under these two grants through 2021. In some cases, the points represent small, discrete sites, but in many they represent larger areas such as regions, watersheds, or stream reaches. In a few cases the points are a laboratory site in which research will be/has been conducted.
      <purpose>This data set shows the locations of grants awarded by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife's Watershed Restoration Grants Branch under Proposition 1 or Proposition 68 through December 2021.</purpose>
