Each point supports information about sensitive (special concern, threatened, endangered, otherwise declining or vulnerable) bird species occurrence. The DFG verified digitized locations with Audubon GIS contractors, corrected some location and position errors, and added attributes for each species addressed in the IBA publication. These data are intended as general occurrence support information for conservation planning and, when used in conjunction with other occurrence data, for describing range.
