1. First review. Hey Mark, Thanks for the preview, this looks great! This map would work great for our purposes too. Couple of suggestions, or at least requests for our map. Please add the cities of Aptos (we use this as a reference more than Rio del Mar) and Davenport. Also, please label Año Nuevo State Reserve in San Mateo County too. Seems like a minor detail, but would you please label the highways w/ 'Hwy' instead of just the number. I like your idea for the numbering for the congested areas. Couple of beaches that we have on our maps that are missing on your copy. - Four Mile Beach (within Wilder Ranch State Park) - Mitchell's Cove (just south/east of Natural Bridges State Beach) - Lighthouse Beach more commonly known as It's Beach - Lincoln Beach is another name for Twin Lakes State Beach - The Hook the more common name for 41st Ave. Beach (end of 41st Avenue, between Pleasure Point and Key Beach) - Hooper Beach (in Capitola, west of the Capitol Fishing Wharf & Capitola City Beach) - Pot Belly Beach (south of New Brighton, north of Seacliff State Beaches) - Lundborgh Beach aka Trestle Beach is north of Manresa and south of Rio Del Mar (I think this is what you are calling Hidden Beach, but not quite sure) - Manresa Uplands (part of Manresa State Beach, end of Sand Dollar Drive) - We don't use La Selva Beach usually this may be what you are calling Hidden Beach, but not sure either. - It's also not real clear in the Rio Del Mar area. You have Rio Del Mar/Aptos Beach, then further south you have Rio Del Mar again. That is all my brain can register at the moment. Please let me know when these are done and mailed, that way I know when to expect them. And of course feel free to contact me with any more questions. I will be in the office Sunday 9/26, Tuesday 9/28, and Friday 10/1 of this week. Thanks! Shelbi ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Shelbi Stoudt Asst. Please review and comment. Along with beach names, we have also added other notable features such as points, rivers, named off shore rocks etc.. The beaches in the vicinity of Santa Cruz are stacked up, probably will require a small table with a number assigned to a name. The number would be along the beach segment, not the actual name. I can remove the beach names and print a map for your use if that is what you need.
