Interstate 5 was discovered to fall short of the Oregon border by a fair distance. The appropriate line feature was edited and extended to the Oregon border.
Revised linework for Highway 1 near Vandenberg Air Force Base (AFB). Other reliable sources (such as Google, Yahoo, and AAA) show the highway entering the AFB, whereas this layer did not. Took what appeared to be correct linework from another major roads layer ("majrdsa" - former Teale GIS Solutions Group) and used it to update this layer.
DFG OSPR's Greg Ewing pointed out some mislabled roads in the dataset so he fixed them. The dataset was also converted from coverage to shapefile format. The fixes made at this time were as follows:
- From San Rafael to Richmond in the bay area, highway was marked as State Hwy 17, changed to Interstate 580.
- From the eastern edge of San Francisco county to Emeryville, highway was marked as US 101, changed to Interstate 80.
