Summary

California Department of Fish and Wildlife Oil Spill Planning and Response (OSPR) staff are partnering with the Monterey County Office of Emergency Services personnel to create and test a Local Response Plan for the Elkhorn Slough. This geodatabase represents a first draft of data layers that may assist in an emergency response in the event of a spill occurring within Moss Landing harbor or along roads or the railroad adjacent to Elkhorn Slough.

Description

This data layer represents wetlands that are tidally restricted due to water control structures vs. wetlands that are fully open to the tides. The polygons were delineated by the National Wetlands Inventory (NWI) in 2005.
